One thing up front so your planning works out: we cook everything fresh and put it together ready to go. Collection happens here at the restaurant – or you eat with us on site. Asian catering in Leipzig: why food for groups is so easy to pre-order

The Vietnamese way of eating is built for groups: several dishes arrive at the table at once and everyone helps themselves. Nobody sits in front of an enormous plate they cannot finish, and nobody eyes up what their neighbour ordered.

Two things help us enormously: get in touch early enough – the bigger the order, the more lead time we need – and give us a fixed collection time. Then everything is fresh when you arrive and nobody has to stand around waiting.

Our kitchen is open daily from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 22:00. The morning slot suits a team lunch; the evening one suits celebrations. If there’s something somebody can’t tolerate, just tell us when you order – we will keep an eye on it while putting your order together and help you choose.

Anyone ordering for a group almost automatically lands in our special offer, which is tiered by order value:

• From 30 € – mini spring rolls or edamame on the house
• From 50 € – mini spring rolls and edamame
• From 70 € – mini spring rolls & edamame plus one homemade soft drink
• From 100 € – mini spring rolls & edamame plus two homemade soft drinks

It sounds like a detail, but it is exactly why ordering together pays off: as soon as four or six of you pool an order, you are over 70 € anyway – and the starters for the whole round are taken care of. A team order for twelve people lands in the 100 € bracket without even trying.

Orders are taken by phone or through our website only. We do not work with third-party platforms, for one simple reason: what we save on commission reaches you in portion size and quality.

Vegetarian pre-orders: not a side dish in disguise

A great many of our guests eat vegetarian food – which is why it is not a special case here but a proper part of the menu. If somebody in your team does not eat meat, they will not get a rearranged side dish, but a full main course.

Would you rather eat here? Inside or in the garden

Not every celebration has to happen at the office. If you would rather skip the carrying, simply book a table with us – inside the restaurant or outside in the garden, the quiet back courtyard with trees and lanterns. Just tell us when you book which you prefer and how many of you there will be.

Getting here, parking and paying in Leipzig-Lindenau

Mami Viet is at Merseburger Str. 107, 04177 Leipzig, in the district of Leipzig-Lindenau / Altlindenau, right by Lindenauer Markt.

🅿️ There are free parking spaces directly outside the door. For a pre-order that is the single most important point: if you have to load a large sushi platter and several bowls into the car, you do not want to circle the block for ten minutes and then carry everything two hundred metres. You pull up outside, collect, and drive on.

You can pay in cash or by card from a bill of 20 € – which for group orders means by card, essentially always.

By the way: if there are only two or three of you grabbing something quickly, our lunch menu between 11:00 and 14:00 is the easiest option – a main course for 10 €, mini spring rolls included.
