One point that will save you a lot of asking: we have two kinds of vegetarian dishes.

• Always vegetarian: these plates are meat-free exactly as listed – all four vegetarian main courses, edamame, both green salads, the entire vegetarian sushi selection and every dessert.
• Vegetarian on request: for many of the classics you choose the filling yourself. Sommerrollen, Frühlingsrollen, Mamis Glück, Gyoza, Dumplings, Suppe ala Mami, Tamarind Suppe and Bun Nem all come in a vegetarian version – just say “vegetarian, please” when you order.

Tofu in Leipzig: our vegetarian main courses for 15 €

If you are looking for tofu dishes in Leipzig, this section is your starting point. Four main courses, all vegetarian, all 15 € – and all meat-free without you having to ask:

Starting vegetarian: starters for 6 €

Starters are the most relaxed way to eat vegetarian with us, especially if you come as a group and share. All of these starters cost 6 €:

• 1 Sommerrollen (2 pieces) – fresh, unfried rice paper rolls with salad, rice noodles, cucumber, mango, sesame and peanut sauce. Choose tofu or avocado as the filling. See the dish
• 2 Frühlingsrollen (2 pieces) – rice paper rolls with oyster mushrooms, glass noodles and carrots, served with salad and house sauce – available vegetarian. See the dish
• 4 Mamis Glück (5 pieces) – crispy pan-fried dumplings with salad and house sauce, in the version with tofu and oyster mushrooms. See the dish
• 7 Gyoza (4 pieces) – with salad and unagi sauce, available vegetarian.
• 8 Dumplings Mix (4 pieces) – steamed dumplings and vegetables with hoisin sauce, available vegetarian.

Our lunch menu runs daily from 11:00 to 14:00, every main course costs 10 € – and comes with mini spring rolls.

🅿️ There is plenty of free parking right outside the door. No parking ticket, no circling the block – you pull up, park for free and are at your table two minutes later. For anyone coming from the west of Leipzig or the surrounding area, that is the most relaxed part of the evening.

You can sit indoors in the dining room or outdoors – we have two outdoor areas: the terrace on the street side and the quiet garden in the back courtyard.

Is there vegetarian sushi in Leipzig at Mami Viet?

What is the cheapest vegetarian meal here?

At lunch, Sushi Box 4 or 5 for 10 € including mini spring rolls, daily from 11:00 to 14:00. In the evening, vegetarian starters begin at 6 € and Suppe ala Mami likewise at 6 €.

Are there spicy vegetarian dishes?

Yes. The Tamarind Suppe (no. 15) at 7 € is a tom yam soup with tofu – vegetarian and spicy, sour and sharp, a good contrast to the milder tofu dishes.

Is there parking nearby?

Yes. There is plenty of free parking right outside the door on Merseburger Straße. So you do not have to hunt for a space first.

Can we come if not everyone in the group eats vegetarian?

That is exactly what we are good at. A vegetarian sushi set, a pho with meat and a poke bowl with salmon sit happily side by side on the same table. Everyone orders from the same menu and nobody has to compromise.
